Services relating to arbitration can be instantly arranged and provided with ; for example, consultations regarding arbitration and mediation, appointments of arbitrators, and free information of foreign arbitration institutions.

To increase understanding of arbitration for the public and to explore arbitration issues, the Association holds various seminars or conferences intensively. With an aim to expand the use of arbitration in different fields of dispute, the Association engages with many professional or business groups and governmental agencies to jointly promote arbitration in Taiwan .

The disputants, upon their agreement, are free to choose the governing law of the dispute, rule of procedure, language used in proceedings, authority of arbitrators, place and location of arbitration, time of hearing, and extension of time limit to render arbitral award, etc.

Normally arbitration proceedings in Taiwan are conducted in Chinese. However, the disputants may choose any language if they so agreed.

The Association may arrange interpreters for any proceedings or translation facilities for documents and transcripts.
　

The disputants may by agreement choose the applicable law governing their contracts as well as the applicable procedure rules. In the absence of an agreement on the procedural rules governing the arbitration and if the parties agree to hold the arbitration proceedings in Taiwan , the arbitral tribunal may apply the Arbitration Law of ROC. The Rules on Arbitration Institution, Mediation Procedures and Fees; The Guidelines on Arbitrators' Training and Lecturing, and the Arbitration Rules of Chinese Arbitration Association ,Taipei are also available to be used for procedural matters.
